|1. What do you see as your primary work at this stage of your life?|
Connecting Communities to enable processes for collective action, leading to urban change that works in harmony with nature.
|2. What role do you see as yours to play?|
Helping develop a culture of adventure, inclusion, celebration and newness, that connects communities, opens up newer discussions that leads to creation of multi scaled community visions of what climate responsive, degrowth inspired territories might look like.
|3. What goals or aims do you have in regard to the above?|
Develop better skills to enable this process where I am a relatively new arrival, from facilitation type processes, to cultural events, to technical issues on architecture, landscape and building.
|4. Where do you feel your next arenas for personal growth are?|
Having been on the move much for the last few years (6 moves in 6 years, including Spain, Brazil, to Portugal), I'm hoping I can settle, make friends, connect deeper with local groups and assist in change in Lisbon metropolitan area, through various eco and social movement groups. Also to become more responsible for my economic side.
|5. And for professional growth?|
Bringing my wider skill set into my "architectural" practice, through design, sharing of ideas, to construction of places. Ive been an activist for a long time, and am relatively new to academia. I hope to continue bridging the two, but expand regen type thinking and action more into the mainstream academic discussion.
|6. What have you invested in to get you where you are?|
Time, starting again, many times. Persistence to keep battling to help make change. Dropping my cares to fight for what I believe in.
